i had not looked into abov previously and was completely blind sided by the deal.

i feel that mfnx's policy of not competing with their customers has been one of their great strengths, in a river full of pirranas that would eat their own kids for a juicy new contract. i think this shows up not so much in the volumn of sales, but in the terms and conditions it allows you to negotiate. i hope abov does not make us give up this advantage we have.

if my understanding of these businesses is correct, i think abov should open up a new tier of potential sales. though i think you alluded to this previously i have not seen anyone address this issue directly. mfnx has only been able to market to entities that are large enough to handle all the expense and tech to get from dark fiber to end use. will not abov allow us to market to the next level of smaller cos?

i have great faith in mfnx management but will feel much better when i understand what their plans are for our high fiber muffin.
