Most timer clubs I've heard of have 24-hour message hotlines and daily updates, etc. in addition to the (usually untimely) snail-mail letter. I thought BB was mostly followed for his general insight offered, it strikes me as peculiar that the folks here are anticipating an imminent timing call on the bear side, most of these I'm sure are delivered in a rather vague fashion - surely he doesn't propound flipping a portfolio of stock positions on his call? Maybe if you're talking specific sectots such as semi-equips or other two-legged stools that investors should rightly be raedy to put on a hair trigger. Consider most of these companies are consistently losing money except for a few string of boom earnings that dissappeared
into thin air from overcapacity. Lets see 8 quarters bust, 2 quarters boom, 4 more busts but take a few months where things aren't getting too much worse and wham, the stock prices are at new all-time highs. Playing with these hot potatoes it is correct to be vigilant and ready to sell. As for a general market bear call, we might get some inflation worries to knock some air out of good companies/expensive stocks - probably hitting the market mid September, as is customary - but meanwhile there's a lot of corpse stocks getting new life, and I think these will continue to get pumped up some more.
