The same attitude still abounds. It is highly unlikely you will ever see a man again that you slept with on the first meeting, even if he initiated it and you both wanted it. To prove your future worth, you're supposed to say "no". A woman's worth to a man, by many men, is still determined by how soon you will have sex, as if your desire and interest in sex were irrelevant.
