Christine, my point had not to do with teen-age girls, but with grown women. I do believe -- in fact, I know -- that society is much less harsh on women who have sex, say, without being married, than it used to be.

The example I cited earlier -- "living together" arrangements without benefit of marriage -- demonstrates that. It is standard these days. In my day, it definitely was NOT.

I am older than most of you guys, after all....<g>
