Doug,

Given that SFLX CEO has stated that he'd prefer to be successful on his own rather than be acquired, it would appear that an offer has already been received. ... that there is no choice but to present it to the board. Thus it must be for at least a small premium above book value.

... and that the hiring of an investment banker is to better ensure that a fair price is received.

So it would appear that SFLX has at most another 6-9 months as a standalone company.

Just my idle speculation,
