Joan, After many months of being fronted off by AOL, I've had more than enough. steve lower case will see these post you can bet on it. When someone says in public that AOL censored and harassed people, you can bet that word will get to steve lower case.
I don't care if his screeners keep him from knowing the truth, that is his problem not mine. Do you know who else had that problem and may not had know it? Lew Platt. Lew's screeners in part cost Lew his job IMO. Of course I can prove what I'm talking about or I would not say it. HWP had problems that Lew may of never known about, thanks to his screeners. Again that was Lew's problem, not mine. And we all know who got Lew all the attention he had coming, I'll do the same for steve.
I'd be glad to talk to steve and tell him all the things that are wrong with AOL. Why his PF boards really stink up the place, what it is like to see your community torn apart and kids killed only to see steve talking about one thing and doing another. It IS his job to know what is going on at AOL, the buck has to stop somewhere.
I noticed I'm getting higher on the steve lower case front off squad. You want a really good laugh? They are called, get this, the Community Action Team. Can you believe that?
TOS2 was sending form letters but after the post today, TOS4 sent a real letter, form like in nature. I think they are saying "Houston, we have a problem" at AOL right now.
Again, steve lower case can always go to an upper case but that will take him doing the right thing, like firing those who stepped on our civil rights, we have the RIGHT not to censored or harassed. steve should know that and so should anyone who works at AOL.
You are right, AOL is nothing like GNET, thank God. When I think of AOL I have to wonder if will not see a repeat with ISPs of what we have seen in computer companies. We looked at this one a long time ago.
Of the top ten computer companies ten years ago, who is left? Think back ten years ago who were the top computer companies? Of those companies who ten years ago seemed like they will be on top forever, who is left? Answer IBM, Big Blue does good business that is why they are still around.
