The upside immediately is to several dollars a share. The reason this appeals more than Petroquest despite the latter being a better company in the sense that it is more traditionally run and likely to earn money producing oil and gas is that this is an exotic play with monster hit potential. It is it's very long shot nature that gives it the appeal it has to the players who are interested. We are interested in the long ball and not the double or even triple or we would buy more probable winners. This is less probably a winner but if it hits, it will exceed the upside of the lower risk plays by a long way. The web page looks pretty good. Off topic: I believe gold will be up next week after the English sales turn out oversubscribed. Newmont calls not a bad speculation here imho.
