Rande - Re: BDE. It appears the registration price on the warrants has been set, $5.91 which was the closing price the day of the filing of the S3. It would be counter productive for them to short the stock down now.

conjecture....
What appeared to us as amateur shorts may simply have been someone keeping a lid on the stock for a reason. This is common practice when setting options, warrants or private placements. In this case, for the registration of all those shares.

More conjecture....
Correct me if I'm wrong but....Even though the exercise price on these shares was $4.00, The IRS has now locked onto them at $5.91. The sale of any of this stock below the registration price would create losses.
