I agree with JP. My husband once admitted that he was unhappy that I had sexual relations with other men before he met me. Of course, I tore him up one side and down the other and now he swears that he no longer thinks that, but I think deep inside he still does.

But I feel kind of the same way, and I am certainly not interested in a man who "plays the field." There is a certain type of man, I just know him when I see him - fancy sports cars and bachelor pads and pinups and singles bars - I could almost pick one out just by the way he dresses - swingers - guys like that really turn me off.

In my book, "serial monogamy" is ok. Dating lots of people is ok, and a good thing to do, especially when you're young. But not having sex with everyone you date, I think that the dating process is supposed to narrow the field. But my definition of "date" includes having a cup of coffee, or lunch, together.
