You hit ther nail on the head Rob. But also the high grade is what turns the heads in the market place. When you can bang out holes of 1 ounce per ton stuff over good widths you turn a lot of heads quickly as the deposit can grow by immense proportions very quickly. The continuity of the grade on all the holes they drill is extremely encouraging but also what is expected. In your own thoughts you were probably anticipating every hole hitting the sequence with confidence. In all respects every hole pretty much hit the sequence with varying thickness and grade. Some economical at these levels and 2 holes below economic values.
Cherbourg reported the one hole 80 metres deeeper then before with the thickness widening to 45 feet. The strike length on Cherbourg currently sits at 500 feet I believe and is still open so in tonnage we can assume we added 500 feet wide 260 feet of depth and 45 feet of thickness which adds a couple of ounces with that hole. The confidence level for the hole deeper then that is higher then it was on this one at the meeting so we can expect probably thicker core lengths with even higher grades on the next series of holes at Cherbourg. As we approach the contact fault we will probably be looking for bonanza type grades of 1 ounce and up over decent thickness so I would expect really strong rallies as new investors are drawn to the project with each series of holes.
Sometimes it takes a while for investors to have the confidence in the project but results speak for themselves. Maybe we are all to confident in that we expect big hits on every hole which will never happen but robin has maintained a steadfast approach of properly drilling evaluating and moving accordingly based on information he obtains. I believe he will continue on with that sound management plan.
At the meeting Robin also pointed out the major magnetic anomaly just south of all the strike zones. I would love to see one deep hole in that anomaly just to see what it is. who knows you could end up with a bonus base metal mine just south of the gold camp. A nice surface deposit we could mine quick would generate the cash flow to turn that whole fault line into swiss cheese. Just a thought!
Have a great weekend.
