If the following was right, ebanking and ebills must be the end of the world as we know it.
"Branch banking...will mean, I suggest in all humility, the beginning of the end of the capitalist system." from John T. Flynn 4/33 "The Dangers of Branch Banking" - The Forum.
I offer my own quote for posterity: "Once Transpoint puts its spin on it, The Exchange copyrights it as a system never offered before, Microsoft works out the bugs in it, Citigroup modernizes it, and Postal employees put down their guns long enough to mechanize it, bricks-and-mortar banking will make it much easier to pay bills than that silly point-and-click, hit the button, new-fangled internet."

Anyway, be careful with the fireworks. This post number is offered in the Spirit of '76.
