That man was the supreme egotist

If a man says he is a farmer and he is a farmer, is it ego or truth?

Exodus 3:14 God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.'"

John 8:58 "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!"

John 6:51 "I am the living bread that came down from heaven"
John 8:12 "I am the light of the world"
John 10:7 "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep"
John 10:11 "I am the good shepherd"
John 11:25 "I am the resurrection and the life"
John 14:6 "I am the way and the truth and the life"
John 15:1 "I am the true vine"

I see truth, not ego.

John said he thought he was God.

your little play on words?

He drove the money changers from the Temple

He will again, too.

He killed a fig tree with his curse.

What shall we say? that the death of a fig tree is much more important than the death of a child?.... but something you may consider is WHY he killed the fig tree.......

Matthew 21:19 Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, "May you never bear fruit again!" Immediately the tree withered.

Romans 7:4 So, my brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God.

Rev. 3:11-12 I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name.

Read also MAtthew 25.

Nihil, pay heed to what your own words are saying.
