Your review of PEM's is highly biased and inaccurate.
rather than give you a point counterpoint, I will leave it at that.

DCH has built working PEM's in a hotel room, thus nullifying your statement that they require clean rooms.

DCH has sensors that take the place of the human nose, which is ineffectual, unless you plan to stand around and sniff for leaks.

Also, by the time you catch the smell, it is already too late.
