Sal, Barrick did not do due diligence to the degree necessary.
Barrick wanted to sign a deal subject to due diligence. That due diligence would have included twinning holes, what is exactly what Freeport is up to now. Nobody, to my knowledge (not even Kilborne) has verified BXM's results to date by twinning holes, Freeport will be the first. That is why Mike's disappearance has spooked dudes like me, and apparently now has spooked the market.
