At businessweek.com I found an interview.

Don't know if ya have ta click te get it.

anyway, I sent this to Sam Jaffe who spoke with Ed Muth of the borg.

Dear Sam, I was reading comments made by Ed Muth.

Linux "Lacks an Extraordinary Number of Features" of Windows

I have used Linux for over six years and now seldom if ever use MS software. But I must wholeheartily agree with Mr. Muth's assertion's that Linux lacks the security features found in Windows. The best example of this is that ther're no viruses for Linus and it seems a new harmful virus pops up now every other week in the Microsoft OS world. Of course I have been doing with Linux for over three years a few things that are still not practical with MS OSes,

On the twenty virtual desktops running on my machine I keep open dozens of applications for months at a time. To switch between any it take's something less than a second. My machine is based on 1994 pentium pro's. So it is clear to me that Linux functionality is nowhere near any MS OS on any hardware. This functionality difference between today's MS OSes and Linux fours years ago is very little changed.

Yes I must say that I'm thankful that Linux is still Microsoft features poor.
