"Every age has its particular folly; some scheme, project, or phantasy into which it plunges, spurred on by the love of gain, the necessity of excitement, or the force of imitation." The similarities of past euphoric profits and dramatic panic epiphanies of true worth are striking similar to what I see today. I could argue that we are smarter now but what scares me is that we are still human.
