OT GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLL !! The USA beat Germany 3 x 2 in the Women World Cup Soccer.... soccertimes.com Fresh off the bench, Shannon MacMillan sent that right-side corner to the near post where defender Joy Fawcett flicked home a header into the top right corner in the 66th minute, powering the United States to a 3-2 victory over Germany in a Women's World Cup quarterfinal before 54,462 at Jack Kent Cooke Stadium. Three superb GOLAZOS.... coming from a deficit, (twice) of 1 x 0 and 1 x 2 to get into the semifinals this coming July 4th. I am sorry to inform you, they will play Brazil in the semis... needless to say... Brazil is my favorite to win the cup.... Having said that, the USA women have played a terrific "jogo bonito" and the game against Brazil promises to be a great one The other semifinal is Norway -vs- China.
