Thanks for the info. I forgot the name of the program, but it picked stocks based on a vote of indicators. When I tested the systems, the only system that worked for a buy-signal was when the stock was at the bottom of a Bollinger band and money flow was positive. The problem was that the parameters of the Bollinger band were allowed to change. Some of what you said had this characteristic, viz., a stock which has corrected and is ready to move up. My time horizon is longer than yours, as my pharmaceutical consulting/contracting business gives me too little time for the market and virtually no leasure time. In fact, I don't have much of a life, other than work. Best wishes. Harold.
