Hi Xavier and Sheldon,
It's nice to see some life remaining on the IMPX thread. I can remember the good old days (a few months back ;) when this thing was
beaucoup hot....how times have changed and how things change over time.

I still have my measly IMP shares I bought as a side play off my Iomega holdings (I agree with you Xavier on IOM, we keep waiting for
the "Great Break Out of 97", would'nt a good TA suggest that the current share price is way undervalued ? ) . Oh well...it's just not in favour at the moment.

I'm also participating in the Class Action suit against IMP . One of the law offices representing some of the plaintiffs (here in Boston)
sent me the complaint/class action file. After reading it I really believe that the top executives clearly manipulated the share price.
All of them (I think 5 or 6 execs) sold off close to 98% of all their holdings within a 2-3 week period.....most are now millionaires from the deal !

I believe there are many class action suits against companies with
similar situations ... one often wonders
1. is the corp. really innocent
2. are shareholders just trying to recover something from a bad investment/trading experience.

After reading the suit I really believe "something was rotten in IMPland".

I'm also not very confident in the SEC to really police this kind of
manipulation...I believe I continue to see it elsewhere, i.e. Centiennal (CTN) who lied about their revenues for the last 4 years !

Where will good old IMP go next ?
- a buy out situation ?
- Chap11 ?
- law suits do them in ?
- they start to recover ?
BTW, did you know that IMP is defined in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary as "a small demon" ? That must be it...we we're all possessed to buy this IMPish thing.

The whole IMP experience is quite a lesson learned...but the problem in lesson's learn on Wall Street is that they can't always prepare you for the next deception, e.g. CTN...when a President
blatantly lies about the numbers.

I wish both of you success in your other investments... the market seems to have been bearish for awhile (regarding the tech sector) maybe we'll have some good buys pretty soon.

Adios
- Michael

p.s.
I feel like a guy at an AA meeting :
"Hi, my name is Michael....and...I'm an IMP stockholder".
