Vendit, what is your take on the at&t/msft free isp access threat described in stockguy's post #24822? is this a cloud no bigger than a man's hand which...?

I had to search for your mentioned link and put it just below..........

Message 10373783

Would you first tell me what YOU think about this information?

I normally do my DD on a company and if I like what I see and it meets certain criteria ....I buy it based on timing models.

I am interested in what you think.

I think....AOL has most of the ISP cusomers. The UK also has free health care......and 70% taxation of wages. They also tax local phone usage per minute........their Internet penetration per household is only about 10% where as in the USA it is about 40%......and mostly paying customers by choice.

UK free= 10%......

USA pays='s 40% penetration.

AOL will now give away a computer for a 24 month ISP commitment....AOL will be able to connect 3rd world countries that aren't even copper laid yet via Hughes wireless soon.

All of this is just some ramdom Vendit thoughts............what are your thoughts?

:8-)
