Price Monger - That doesn't make a lot of sense to me that "Benhamou would tank his stock so he could get USRX cheap as well". Unless you are saying that the time of the merger is close to the time in which he is awarded stock options. I would doubt it since stock options are probably awarded after fiscal year end. In any case, he doesn't get more USRX if 3com is cheap - by my calculations he gets less. I would prefer to put a different perspective on Benhamou's actions - he is building long term shareholder value by investing in R&D when he needs to invest in it. Unless you can offer some information to the contrary that is based on anything but speculation why don't you quit maligning a CEO who is clearly doing the best thing he can for his shareholders.
