One thing I miss is the stock profile pages, which provided a nice way of learning some basic information about companies and seeing their earnings history.

That's still available. It's one of the items in the small type in the far-right "More Info" column of the stock information table below each message in a stock-related thread. Unfortunately, you'll have to scroll to the right to see that column unless you use a wide browser window.

[And on another subject, and to repeat something since the opposite request has been repeated so often: Please, please SI, don't put that box frame around the message again. Even if you end up going back to the old tacky easter-egg colors, keep at least this one improvement.]
