I haven't been away, I've just been having some computer problems.
I have been getting the old “You have performed an illegal error, this program will shut down”-Damn I really don't like that one (not as bad as FATAL ERROR though), and it is appearing more frequently, but…
The worst was last night when I was catching up on ‘Techride-Classics' and while copying one of the news links that I didn't have Blam my whole computer locks up!!!
A ‘Classic' all right…ask Jed if it's an omen…
So my screen freezes and goes into contortions and I give Acer a call and he gets me out but says I need to re-install windows, and you know what that means! I have to copy all my files out (2.33 GB's worth!) or I lose it!
Most of it is 300 nature photographs I've scanned in there for my work & pleasure.
Well I just finished copying everything onto Zip-Discs, phew. But now I can't find my Windows CD and may have to order one from Acer for $50. Last month it was my Modem.
Anyway that's not what I wanted to say…
I haven't finished the ”Classics” yet, but I enjoyed your course in Investing thanks.
It is nice to see the different perspectives on investing.
Most of the stocks you guys are in, or were at the time you wrote that, I also have. I had a bunch of Tech stock but I dumped it for Gnet.
I plan to unload AOL as soon as it catches up abit more.<gg>
Actually I'm thinkin of unloading a bunch of stuff this week while we are still in the money so I can get my Ohana started and the Go2Net wing (maybe next year for that one).
But I will hang on to my CMGI & GNET for sure, though they may under go so profit taking in the next few weeks…(by me)…
Speaking of illegal moves, man that's wild all those guys getting taken to court for bad mouthin bad companies! I wonder when the Pharmaceuticals are comin after me!

Well I'm off to join you folks on the mainland next week. I'm going to pop over to Maui for the day, then on to Vancouver Island where I lived for 27 years and our family has a little log cabin we built on an island off the west coast there; our summer home. You would really love it there Blue, it is a magical place in Clayoquot Sound, I've a few prayer stones and things out that way to.
I may be in that neck of the woods for a few months, including Victoria and Seattle where I have family.
Oh, a rain shower just started, good the orchard sure could us it.
