I agree the place is a rip...I never had a massage in my life but I thought the women might get into that for a one time GNET splurge thing....they also have a good baby sitting program for those with kids which is a big issue for families....I'm just into the pool at that place....its really fun....If you stay at the place next store, I forget its name, it is not a bad deal....I'll find it out if there is any further interest in this choice......Also I was thinking of only staying there two or three nights....I am a bit more of the adventurous type than most...I guess most everyone sounds like they would just rather hang out at one place for the week and play a bunch of golf...... whatever I am just sharing my experiences for the group...here is some info on the other places I talked about. Day 1 at Puna Pickles and up to Volcano House....Not very good site but the only thing I could find about the Volcano House but some on the volcano and Big Island.... check this site out....for the first time adventurous visitor the Volcano is a must. book.uci.edu Day 4 Kula Lodge...this web site also not very good but gives you an idea...this place use to have great rock bands play Friday nights where the locals came to party...perfectly located for early morning visit to Haleakala Crater and does a great breakfast maui.net
