So the situation is this - we have a bunch of sales people who have made their livelihood by the 'difficult' job of selling product at a deep discount and ruining the pricing structure of an entire industry. As they threaten to leave, the company,instead of saying good riddance and letting them go destroy some other outfit, takes the extraordinary step of bribing them with more options. It's axiomatic that you can't be the leader in an industry if 'volume oriented' sales people are allowed to run amok.
