As i see it, companies like Sun Microsystems are going to be in trouble going forward. With high PEs and a very competitive environment. MSFT is basically a low cost supplier----they dominate this area. As they move into to the product lines that currently are big money, look for Sun and others to have serious growth problems resulting in big stock plunges. They could grow but if the rate of growth slows, the PEs are going down. Oracle and Sunw are the biggest critics (publically) of MSFT, meaning they see troubles down the road, especially Sun's McNeally who has been very vocal lately.

I think MSFT could eventually run into the same types of problems but I think that would at least 2 years away.

Currently, i am just putting Oracle, Sun Microsystems on my "short" list after the run up to earnings (for SUNW) is complete. Going to try and excercise some patience and possibly even get "puts" on Sun.

Anyone have any comments on my future trading(short) choices.
