James Nicoll: Excellent response. The Economist continues in its unique but consistently wrong point of view. Their claim that next year's cpu sales will be hampered by this year's presupposed more than adequate machines overlooks a lot of improvements that are on the drawing board now.(Cu,Rambus,FlatPanels to name some of the more obvious performance enhancers). The CPU is just coming out of its infancy. JFD
