Just got my new Compaq Presario Internet PC from Free-PC.com. Its the 4th computer in my house now (that is my career) but it may be the one most used for internet surfing. Both the startup page and the Internet button on the keyboard (nice feature) go to Alta-Vista. I envison all the CMGI compnaies being prominantly featured on the side and bottom ads. Furniture.com is there already. On a side note. You begin to realize the power of an Amazon.com when you get a $15 gift certificate for drugstore.com (a recent investment by amazon) with your book order. I told my wife to not go there (itd be heresy) but to go to mothernature.com instead. But its easy to see the advantage in marketing muscle a company like amazon.com has. Plus I told her not to use amazon anymore for her books, I told her there was a much better place...shopping.com!
