Bernie,

I am also long Intel and long faced right now.
BUT I remember posting on the now inconsequential
Intel thread here that all stocks and markets have
periods of irrational volotility and that stocks
overshoot and undershoot with near equal conviction
and force. Intel pushed up a little too far a little
too quickly about 1 month ago. But for the long term
all that matters is
1- Market growth and profit growth - A ok
2- Market position A++
3- Management skill A+++
4- New product pipeline A++
5- Competitors with limitations A++
6- A brand name that facilitates sales A+
7- Technology edge A+
8- Manufacturing savy A++++

In my opinion Intel has it all. It may have been
irrational to believe that it would climb to the moon
this year but those earnings are going to power the
stock price into the MID 200s within the next 12 months.

When Intel fell from 78 to the low 50s last January
I bought more at 57 (missed the bottom). I'm beginning
to get an itchy trigger finger again. I think that we
are getting near the "no-brainer" type buy decision for
the buy and hold investor.

At least that's the way that I see it.

Best regards and good investing.
Burt
