You find suits disgusting..especially on July 4th..LOL

From my limited interaction with you, it seems as if you would enjoy life in a totalitarian state where you have freedom of speech as long as you say what the government wants you to say. If I've misjudged you, I apologize before hand.

We're approaching a situation where an SI member may not post relevant financial information about a company because of fear of a law suit. The suit may be completely groundless, but the average investor doesn't want to take that risk, and hence won't post the info. This is what I meant by might.

IMO these suits are not only meant to stop the posters in question, but prevent anyone else from pointing out facts detrimental to the companies involved.

Would I have used to names and terms the the above-mentioned personalities used? No. But, IMHO, they were factually correct and within the bounds of SI policy.

SI is supposed to be an area where investors share ideas. In these forums, you'll find stock touts, stock bashers and those just trying to gain info/insights about the stock in question (NCDR contains all three). It is up to the individual investor to sort this out and not rely on others to spoon feed them the truth.

This is symptomatic of a serious societal problem. Instead of combatting supposed misinformation in the marketplace, trial lawyers are flooding the court system with bogus lawsuits.
