Of the three, #1 seems the most probable/possible in the short term given Armstrong's strategy and AT&T's "dotted line" relationship with RR. I'd be less surprised to see an @home/RR link up soon.

If there were some negotiations in the works, could also be an AOL content provider with @home AND RR.......with Armstrong's panache for multi-way complex deals, this can't be ruled out. (You could say that Excite is the "wrench" in the way of many of these promising "deals.") This type of deal would be a true blow to MS.........although they will be in many of AT&T's cable boxes.........

Ahhhhhhhhhhh....too much thinking on a holiday.....think I'll go drink some more beers.....
