Thanks Joan, Another excellent post to make one think. RE: Lawyers outing people. I think these lawyers are opening a real can of worms here and I hope they are fined and put in jail for this, made an example of.
You mark this one down, the world is full of nuts, we see it everyday. By lawyers outing people sooner or later some nut will take action against one of the people outed. Someone is going to get hurt and then someone should go to jail.
Living in the country like I do I've found I get my best sleep with a loaded gun next to me. We have mountain lions and bears here, so it is not a good idea to be on my property after dark, mistakes happen all the time.
During the day it is not a good idea to be on my land either. I paid for the land, I own it and unless you are invited, you will get thrown off or carried off my land. It doesn't matter to me. So as you can see if someone were to out me then THEY would be putting people at risk, me and whoever showed up on my land. Like I said there are nuts out there.
I will protect my home and my family. I have no problem using a weapon as I was cross trained in the ARMY, Medic and a light weapons expert with rifle, pistol and anything else I got my hands on. All beret types shoot well.
If I had to shoot someone due to them being a danger to myself or my family, I can tell you now there is only one way I shoot and that is not to wound but to kill. I'll burn a clip to make sure myself or my family is not in danger. Now if some lawyer wants to put me in danger or my family in danger I'll sue for doing so. If some nut wants to come to my house and puts me or my family in danger, well, they will be carried off.
I hope that all SI users getting sued and have been outed, make of point of the fact that the outing is putting them in danger. There is no need for lawyers to post where people live and I hope those dumb $hit lawyers get their a$$e$ sued off for this.
Again, if you lawyers are reading my mail to Joan, don't out me, don't put myself or my family in danger. If I have any problems someone will get sued (whoever outs me) and if someone shows on my land looking for trouble, they will find it but they will never see it coming.
Reckless endangerment is what I would call outing internet users. I think that is what twelve reasonable people will call what these lawyers are doing. It is common sense that some people do sick things. An idiot that lost his butt to a worthless stock may want to point a finger or get even with the wrong person. These lawyers must know that. I hope the SI users who these lawyers are outing, sue them for it and then they are made an example of.
