Now you are getting into dog psychology. Which I pretty much stay away from. Dogs, in my experience, tend to be a bit goofy (good grief, I just realized that's why Goofy is named Goofy). Well, that's because they consider the dog to be one of your "kittens" and therefore their pet, not your pet. It may sound complicated but it's perfectly simple to the cat.
