Re "But for the long Term all that Matters"

Burt, I enjoyed your post and certainly agree with all the above. It is absolutely irriatating to me to see how so many people who don't know a damn thing about what the hell they are talking about gets the most attention from the news media. Empty cans makes the most noise. I suppose that mediocrity is the essence of what we are forced to put up with in this time of market volitility. You are fortunate to have the insight to see through all this nonsense and to recognize the true bargain that Intel is at this time. I think the Nasdaq has seen the worst of its correction as the 10% fall from its highs is equal to an almost 750 point drop in the Dow. I am trying to see if Mr Greenspan who rumor tells me that he was caught smoking a marlboro 100 while typing up his next speech on a Dell computer using Microsoft word and the latest Intel pentium, is buying stock in MO, ko G and INTC under an pseudoname.

The only impressive idea I can understand with Warren Buffett is the buy and hold forever of good companies. Well if you buy a few hundred shares of KO, G, Msft and Intc and live as long as Greespan and Buffett, you are practically assured great wealth.

My opinion only

Best Regards and good investing

Frank
