Stocks Ch/Chromatics Color Sci (CCSI) Subj: Tough to follow the Skip Date: 3/17/97 9:19:22 AM From: Digaryjosh
A lot of speculation but we still all are sailing in the same boat, having no idea where it is headed. My take on things differ slightly from Skip's in the respect that I have done a lot of trading over the years myself and have come to the conclusion that at no time does everyone find out about a decision together. I do not think that this delay can be seeen as a positive in anyway because you would think the FDA wants this product to be a go to aid society. I am quite sure CCSI,CCSI employees, CCSI friends, and FDA cronies will know the decision before it comes to us. The stock drop has been based on no higher than 100,000 shares on one trading day the past 3 weeks. Obviously the drop is not based on any insider info-just a little panic and a little manipulation by those who see opp to buy in 5's and sell in 6's. I am rooting with all of you-having sold off my entire portfolio and dumped it into CCSI. I do think without approval we do not have a tragedy on our hands, just a stock in the 3-4 dollar range for the year why they go back to the drawing board.

Hey guys, The stock is in a definate trading range over the past 10 days. mid fives to 6. The volume is thin however. So what you say?. Well if there were "news" on this company you would see a preemptive dumping or accumulation. Neither has occurred. Just market makers playing the stock. It hits 6 1/2 and people take profit. 3/4 of a point is a lot to play with. When the volume starts to increase and the price responds (either up or down) you'll know your answer on FDA approval probably a day or two before the actual announcement. Hang tight. I've got a good feeling on this one. ;>)

Skip,
As you know, CCSI used only two hospitals to conduct their tests that form the basis for their FDA submission.
Have the experts that you have talked to said that this is a net negative in terms of the probability of gaining FDA approval?

Absolutely not, because these clinicals go back almost 7 years and comprise I believe over 3000 babies, but if that were a problem,I believe the company has prepared for it,but in all those tests, black, white, hispanic, asian, etc were tested so it is my opinion those tests really do cover the rainbow. In the company's preparation for the FDA they conducted endless tests, what if's,trial trials, question and answer periods, much lie if you were preparing for a major trial, and it is my belief that they were well prepared.Incidentally, when I give you my opinion,I am taking a vast number of scources for my info, certainly not all my own.I probably speak to at least 2 people a day that imput what I consider to bevaluable insight. As you can probably tell this is how I make my living, strictly on profits or losses in the market,so I may be wrong, but when I make a bet of this size, which is the largest I have ever had,I try to do a lot of work and due dilligence. If for any reason they aren't approved it will be beyond my wildest or worst dream. This product is needed by the world, not just us shareholders, and IT WORKS better than blood testing,of this I am sure. |
