Seems like you've found the best way. Give directly to the needy. And, as mph warns, don't let the gov't do it for you. Let toe gov't do it for you, and your poor fellow might not even have gotten the fifty cents that he was looking for. Freedom does have its responsibilities. Yet, the Fourth of July celebrations remind us of what it means to be free. Happy Fourth everyone, even if it is a bit after midnight. Dennis
