Pat,
Obviously, you think National Guard duty was a way of not serving. That is simply not true. First, they had to attend extensive basic training. Then, these guys had to attend weekly, biweekly, or monthly meetings. Plus, two weeks each year was spent in maneuvers doing whatever was asked. They did serve. Not true for Clinton. He simply evaded it.

Regarding network news. Did you know that Rick Kaplan, president of CNN news, is a friend of Clinton's. Did you know that CNN is forbidden to use any derogatory term, such as the word corrupt, when referring to the Clinton's or the current White House.

I guess you refuse to believe any story until it appears on the network news. What about Juanita Broadrick? I guess that did not happen since only NBC dared to report it. Btw, did you know that NBC deliberately held that story until AFTER the impeachment hearings were over. (How is that for manipulating the news?)

As far as Socialism or Liberalism, what is the difference if you exclude free enterprise from the discussion? You people do not want to call yourselves Socialists. Why? Are you afraid of being exposed as to your true beliefs or intentions? I will suggest a book for you to read by a reformed liberal that might help:

"The Terrible Truth About Liberals" by Neal Boortz
