while i hear your frustration, may i suggest your level of apprehension is directly in proportion to your amount of personal preparation for this disconnecting event?

audio has been compliant since '88 you say?
just what part of audio are you referring to?
the old hand cranked field 'radio' telephones perchances of WWII?

last I heard, radio was dependent upon an external power sourcing.

maybe you could enlighten the thread as to the kinds and types of 'audio power sourcing' you recommend/know of/heard of others doing, etc.

understand this is a sincere request for information and your thoughtful response would be appreciated, since i'm not sure the preparations i've made for externally power sourcing audio has been adequate on my part.
