Perhaps coincidental. But ARTT had Lucent and QWST investing and STILL managed a convertible deal with Oak Partners just last month. Yes, it is pretty obvious BDE knows the damage that can be done by signing such deals, which explains their disclaimers. . . but I wonder about others. IRSN has MAJOR deal with Boeing Defense contractors in Huntsville. . . .UOLP has a client roster that would choke a horse. . . many Fortune 500 companies and even some of the top Universities in America. . . Like I said, when these offshore deals are "presented" by the agents who peddle them . . . matching venture capitalists with corporation. . . they must make one heck of a great offer. . . and when I say it is one that the company "cannot refuse" . . . the connotation between the lines is fully intentional.
