I'm certainly not arguing that the PPP setup is going to be the basis of the "demise" of anything. I don't even think ease-of-use in general is such a big issue for Solaris machines anymore. I think Javastations will render that question moot. But as I have said, even though James is a blatant Microsoft propagandist, I also worry about Sun's lack of execution on the desktop appliance. PPP has nothing to do with it. Getting a vision off the drawing board (where it's been for too long) and into the marketplace does.
