I have been unable to find any news, could be someone does not want to wait out this company any more and dumped some shares at any price. Proteon still has over 20 million in cash which makes the $1.25 price fetched this morning very low, of course many networking stocks are at or near 52 week lows right now so this in not out of line with what is happening in this sector. I hope someone does not know anything that will deliver this company a severe blow, from outward appearances they seem to be going in the right direction. If they do not increase revenue and lose revenue again this quarter though it would justify this kind of stock price.
