Michigan got cooked too - badly!! I am at a house on the shores of Lake Huron this week. Thermometer read 100 degrees today in the shade. I feel sorry for the folks inland.

The lake water is unusually warm for ANY time of year. 2-3 times the normal number of people in the water as prior July 4th weekends.

Massive numbers of cars heading back to Detroit.

Have to go into the water every few hours to keep cool. It's time again...
