Good start! Microforum appoints Dwight Crane to board Microforum Inc MCF Shares issued 24,647,847 Jul 5 close $7.40 Mon 5 Jul 99 News Release Mr. Howard Pearl reports Dwight B. Crane, Professor finance and banking at Harvard Business School, has been appointed to the board of directors of Microforum Inc. Prof. Crane will be joining David Peterson, Efrim Boritz, Donald Paterson, Francois de Gaspe Beaubien and Howard Pearl as the other board members. Prof. Crane is a member of the finance faculty at Harvard University and has been active in the financial institution field for many years. He co-ordinated the Global Financial System Project at the Harvard Business School, which focused on the future role and structure of financial institutions. In addition, Mr. Crane has co-authored several financial books such as The Global Financial System: A Functional Perspective, Doing Deals: Investment Banks at Work and The Effects of Banking Deregulation. He teaches finance and banking subjects in the MBA and executive education programs. Prof. Crane is also on the board of directors of the Smith Barney Appreciation Fund and other mutual fund companies sponsored by Salomon Smith Barney.
