*OT* >>Today with all our greatness 15 million kids experience hunger
in this Country <<

Well I gues I am one of the non-human heartless people then. While my heart aches for the kids, their parents don't get any of my sympathy. I have had to go on emergency leave due to family deaths etc where I didn't have much available cash. After the funeral when my wife decided she needed to stay for a while, I was able to go out and find a job in about an hour with my new employer knowing I was gong to leave in a few weeks and return to my base to do my real job. There are "Help wanted" signs in windows in too many stores and resteraunts for anyone to tell me these people can't find employment. I have worked many second jobs when I needed extra cash and was always able to find employment in minimal time. Now it may be like the song "Working at the Car Wash blues" by Jim Croce where they think they should get a corner office and be a CEO even though they have no education but there are jobs. Heck the guy that does my lawn care supports a couple kids this way. How much is invlolved in buying a couple lawn mowers at garage sales and doing this. That is how he started and now is making money hand over fist from those that either are too lazy to cut their own grass or those that can't like myself (My knee still hasn't been fixed by our non-eroding military benefit medical support, Hope I never get shot, I will be dead bythe time congress appropriates enough money for them to remove the bullet, but that is another story)

I don't feel there are many reasons to not have a job for those that want one. The only draw backs I really see are those single parents that have 20 kids and child care costs more than they can make working. Of course they are the ones that decided to not practice smart sex and those are also the ones that will eventually get the diseases that were put on this earth to weed them out. I feel for the kids but feel that give aways for the stupid or lazy is not what makes a country great. Survival of the fittest worked for millions of years. Our energy needs to stay in the area of creating OPPORTUNITY not hand outs because it is politically correct.

I know I probably sound heartless but I have come to know many of "needy" throughout my life and once I got to know them, they were most times more capable than myself to work but just chose not to. My favorite was a guy who lost 3 fingers and claimed he could not work so he collected 3 different types of government income. Every time I see those quadroplegics using their mouths to type commands into a computer I think of him. Which one should be not working?????

Good Luck,

Lee
