Some Internet companies won't have to be visible to succeed. They'll be the technology behind other company's success. Perhaps this discussion should take two different directions... 1) Those companies geared towards the retail consumer on the net. The specific strategies they should focus on and the known barriers to entry they will face. 2) Those that are core support businesses, helping to build the backends and storefronts of the internet. Technology oriented business that needs to be concerned with innovation and product development to bring it on faster, more efficiently and cheaper. What should the focus be for those business models? Excellent thread...I love strategy discussion Carole
