Greetings Stu,

IMO. the biggest problem with WIND right now is that they don't have a new CEO yet. That is a risk factor that is keeping a lot of institutional money on the sidelines. That will hopefully get resolved soon. I can't think of a better opportunity for a dynamic, young Internet oriented CEO. The company is successful, growing strong and profitable, with many significant partnerships, explosive markets and so much potential to be really BIG. The story is great and just needs the right leadership and execution to manifest itself. I believe both the short term upside and long term upside look very good.

But there are some risks. These include MSFT's entry into the RTOS market, the new pricing structure which may decrease earnings short term, and more delays in I2O (although, at this point, the stock price has discounted ever seeing any revenue from I20 and it can only surprise on the upside). And, of course, there is the risk of a general market debacle.

I wrote a little more about the stock price in post #5182 last May.

I'm curious how you came to be aware of WIND. Did a broker recommend it. Maybe it's getting better coverage, which could only be positive.

Best of luck to you.
