Many of us could not get through our day without access to the Web. Steve Markman, CEO of General Magic, will talk about the emerging role of voice technology in helping people stay in touch with Internet content when they're away from a PC or other Web-enabled device.
General Magic has been a pioneer in developing voice-enabled applications, which give people an easier, more intuitive way to interact with information, whether e-mail or a particular Web-based application. Steve will talk about the role of standards and also discuss voice agents, a new concept that puts important Web content just a phone call away.
