Hi, I just subscribed to his newsletter and have done some research into Lukoy. It seems that Chezchin's figures are pretty accurate concerning reserves, revenues etc. and quite frankly I am pretty excited about investing in the ADRs at this point in time..keeping in mind of course that it will probably take a long time (i.e. 7-10 years) for this company to become a serious player in the international oil arena. What I don't have a good grasp on is how long Lukoy will continue to have to sell it's oil to the base of growing Russian industies at prices that are ridiculously lower than world prices. This will have a major impact on their profits and could reduce cash on hand required to finance their modernization and new projects. Another aspect I don't have a good feel for is the potential of the communist party regaining power and potentially repatriating Lukoil. Any thoughts comments ? Phil Didaskalou
