No their methods are poor... 2. Your sense of the growth of other portals is wrong... 3. Remember this is a measure of referrals, not traffic. Perhaps Yahoo users are more experienced and tend to leave the portal for other web sites wile users at other portals refer to web sites outside of the portal less often. This makes YHOO far more profitable per user....Imagine how little referral revenue AOL sees from its average user who never leaves the aol.com domain. Of course, AOL has a different business model.
