max, one more place to look for bookmarks... in explorer, click program files, netscape, communicator, program, defaults, bookmark. when i went there, the folder contained only the default netscape bookmarks. the "personal bookmark" heading near the bottom of the folder was blank. but perhaps your lost 200 are residing there. :) mark
